There’s a new event this year, a 3-D projection show. It will run starting at 6 p.m. through closing at the Wray Home Museum. The show is a spectacular display of light and music that’s sure to amaze young and old.
Santa’s Little Helpers will be at the Gardens for two weekends in December. Your whole family can enjoy giving presents to the animals, holiday music, and holiday crafts you can make and take home.
Old Davie School Historical Museum, Christmas in Davie
There’s a free festival for your family at the Old Davie Christmas on December 8 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. You can take photos with Santa, give the kids a pony ride, visit the petting zoo, and take part in old-fashioned games. It’s a little bit of nostalgia to add to your Christmas in Davie.
Winterfest Boat Parade, Fort Lauderdale, FL
If you’ve never seen the Winterfest Boat Parade, it’s worth traveling a bit beyond Davie. On December 14 2019, the parade will take place along a 12-mile route starting at the Stranahan House. Private boats and even the big showboats and mega yachts feature thousands of lights, decorations, celebrities, and musical groups, among other types of amazing things to see.
The Polar Express Train Ride, Fort Lauderdale, FL
The Polar Express lights up the kid in all of us. Fort Lauderdale is lucky to have a Polar Express Train Ride in 2019. Dress up in your best pajamas and take a ride where you can relive this magical holiday story in real life. The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is the home of the Hip Hop Nutcracker.
